CODING FOR FOLDING MIRRORS VIA REMOTE CONTROL – A1 AX, Q3 8U

This service is to code the vehicle so that the folding mirrors will fold automatically when you lock the car via the remote control. 
The vehicle needs to have factory fitted folding mirrors for this function to be be activated.
 This coding function is only applicable for the Audi A1 8X and Q3 8U.

Press the lock button on the remote control and the mirrors will fold automatically.
Then when you start the vehicle the mirrors will un-fold automatically.
As this function is not available from factory on these models you cannot turn this feature on/off in the MMI.
It can only be turned on/off with vehicle diagnostics.

We can only offer this service if the vehicle is brought to our workshop or if combined with another service.

Please note: The vehicle needs to have factory fitted folding mirrors for this function to be be activated.
This is only applicable for the Audi A1 8X and Q3 8U,
other models may have it already active or it may not be available.

Special Note for Models with Keyless Entry:
The Keyless Entry lock function via the door handle will not fold the mirrors automatically,
however the full closure function via the door handle will fold the mirrors.
You need to hold the touch sensor for 2-3 seconds and continue to hold for the function to operate.
The position of the key also needs to be in the correct range (within 1 meter of the drivers door)
and must not obstructed by any electrical devices such as a mobile phone or several keys etc.
